ACME METAL ENTERPRISE CO LTD is one of main secondary lead alloy smelters in Taiwan. Dr. Fung, the founder of the company, who specialized in ore refinery and metal recycling, used his professional knowledge of smelting to create many special variations of lead alloy to meet wild demands of different kinds of batteries for uses in automobiles, motorcycles, lightings, etc. During this period he also enlarged the usages of lead metal, such as industrial chemistry lead (material for litharge(Pbo), red lead(Pb304), stabilizer, etc), TV tube coatings as well as a protective shell against radiation. Besides, Dr. Fung introduced modern

equipments and skills of lead smelting from developed lead smelters of the world to Taiwan. Under his management, ACME METAL became the first lead smelter in Taiwan with modern equipments and qualified smelting technologies.

In 1984, ACME METAL was transferred to Mr. Lu, the present chairman. Mr Lu upgraded the then facilities with several efficient refining and smelting furnaces, as well as environmental protection equipments for cleaner and eco-friendly operations. In addition, the production capacity was expanded and the new factory site was enlarged to about 10,000㎡. Most of the established battery manufacturers in the world were attracted by the high quality and efficient production of ACME and hence have chosen ACME METAL as their main supplier.
